FREE WEBINAR – UNDERSTANDING THE PERFORMANCE GAP

28th May and 4th June at 09:00

28th May and 4th June at 09:00

This short 45-minute CPD session reviews the recent studies on housing performance and explains how the energy performance gap is undermining the UK’s ambition to become carbon neutral.

Homes often underperform to their designs and this is largely due to inconsistencies in the building fabric.

Join us as we explain how to improve the performance of our built-environment through in-situ thermal performance testing.

Cost – £FREE

Specifically designed for architects and designers, this 1 hour session will explain how integrating Building Performance Evaluation can help your clients get the best out of your projects.

Our guest speaker will join us in demonstrating how obtaining real-world measurements and data collection can help close the gap between designed and as-built energy performance.

1 hour session with Q&A

Cost – £FREE

Guest Speaker: Neil Young

Knowledge Transfer Manager at BECCI

The first step in achieving a successful heat pump installation is to obtain an accurate heat loss measurement, rather than relying on the theoretical design calculation. This session explores how real-world measurement of heat loss is helping to provide more suitably sized and balanced system to suit the needs of buildings and their occupants.
